Interview Drills vs. Final Round AI

Disclosure: this comparison is written and published by Interview Drills, the maker of one of the two products compared, so read it as an interested party's analysis, not a neutral review.

Methodology: on October 8, 2026 we read Final Round AI's homepage, including its pricing section, its Trustpilot review page, and a pricing write-up by OphyAI, a competing copilot, and we quote them directly with that date; every source is listed at the bottom of this page. Every Interview Drills claim comes from our internal facts registry, which is checked against the product. We have not purchased Final Round AI and have run no hands-on or head-to-head test of either product, so nothing here describes how the two perform side by side. In the feature table, 'Not included' for Final Round AI means the feature is not described on its public pages on that date.

Final Round AI covers ground Interview Drills does not. Its site describes coding and system-design solutions and support on HackerRank and CoderPad; Interview Drills has no technical coverage at all. Its practice mode starts from a saved Goal that already holds your role, company, and resume, whereas Interview Drills uses your resume in scoring only on Interview Accelerator and Interview Pro. And if what you want is help during the interview itself, Final Round AI offers it and Interview Drills deliberately does not.

The live-assistance trade-off is yours to weigh. Before using any real-time tool, read the interview instructions you were sent: Amazon's guidelines, as reported by ITPro in March 2025, warn that 'Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disqualification from the recruitment process.'

The pricing section of Final Round AI's homepage (checked October 8, 2026) lists Free at $0 — 'Set up Goals and prepare materials for the jobs you are chasing' — and Pro at '$25+/mo', which unlocks live CoPilot and Stealth Mode, and states 'There is no free trial - live sessions need an active Pro subscription.' Its 'See all plans' link opens a separate plan page whose prices were not in its HTML when we checked, so we could not read them. OphyAI, a competing interview copilot, reported on September 29, 2026 that Final Round AI's plan page listed $150 a month, $250 every 3 months, $300 a year, and a $500-a-year Premium MAX plan, with unlimited CoPilot sessions on paid plans; we could not load that plan page ourselves. Trustpilot reviewers report larger charges: 'I thought I was starting a free trial but was charged $150' (September 12, 2026) and 'I was charged $250' (August 26, 2026). Trustpilot notes that it does not fact-check reviews.
